Booking terms
1. Purpose
These terms govern the rental of the tourist accommodation Masía El Pinet, located in Alfafara (Alicante), and apply to every booking made directly through this website, WhatsApp or any other direct channel with the owners.
2. Booking and payment
The booking is confirmed by paying 35% of the total amount by bank transfer. Bank details are sent by WhatsApp once the dates of the stay have been confirmed. The remaining 65% is paid on the day of arrival.
The booking is not considered confirmed until the owners receive proof of the first payment.
3. Minimum stay
The general minimum stay is 2 nights. In August, the minimum stay is 5 nights. At Easter, New Year and over bank holiday weekends, the minimum stay may differ from the general one; we recommend checking availability and specific conditions before booking.
4. Maximum occupancy
Masía El Pinet has a maximum capacity of 15 people. The booking includes the whole estate with both houses, and no additional guests are allowed above the contracted occupancy.
5. Check-in and check-out
Check-in is from 17:00 and check-out is by 17:00 on the day of departure. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and must be confirmed in advance with the owners.
6. Cancellation policy
Masía El Pinet offers free cancellation with a 100% refund up to 30 days before check-in.
If the booking is made less than 30 days before arrival, the guest still has 24 hours from the moment of booking to cancel free of charge, even though they are already within the 30-day period.
After those 24 hours, cancellations made between 29 and 7 days before check-in are entitled to a refund of 50% of the amount paid.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in are not entitled to any refund.
Changes of date are subject to availability and will be treated as a new booking for the purposes of this policy.
7. Pets
Pets are allowed at Masía El Pinet, up to a maximum of 2 per booking, with a supplement of €15 per pet per night. The guest agrees to keep them under control at all times, especially in garden areas and inside the house, and to be responsible for any damage they may cause.
8. House rules
Masía El Pinet does not accept stag or hen parties, or events and celebrations made up of people under 30. The owners reserve the right to cancel without refund any booking in which this condition is found to have been breached or concealed at the time of booking.
Masía El Pinet is not currently adapted for people with reduced mobility.
9. Liability and damage
The guest is responsible for any damage caused to the house, the furniture or the outdoor areas of the estate during their stay, beyond normal wear and tear. The owners reserve the right to charge the cost of repairing or replacing any damaged items.
10. Force majeure
In the event of unforeseeable or unavoidable circumstances beyond the control of the parties (severe weather, natural disasters, administrative decisions, among others) that prevent the service from being provided, the owners and the guest will agree on the most appropriate solution, either postponing the stay or issuing the corresponding refund.
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. To resolve any dispute, both parties submit to the courts that correspond under current consumer protection legislation.
