A MASÍA WITH HISTORY
Not just any house. It has stood for three centuries
Masía El Pinet is the most historic and traditional place to stay in the whole village. Its origins go back to the 18th century, when it was a genuine Valencian farmhouse. Over time, the estate became linked to one of the most distinguished families in the Valencia region.
Doña María Luisa Gil-Dolz del Castellar y Catalina, a marchioness and the daughter of the Counts of Albalat i Els Sorells, owned the estate. It was then that the battlements were added, giving the house the look of an old castle, along with the coat of arms that still presides over the main entrance.
We have been opening the doors of the estate for more than 30 years. We were the first rural house in Alfafara, and we have welcomed travellers from Australia, the United States, China, Saudi Arabia, Germany, France and more than twenty other countries, putting Alfafara on the map.

The masía has two houses, one for 9 people and another for 6 people, connected from the outside, just 5 metres from door to door. Both are booked together, with a total capacity of 15 people. The property is always rented as a whole.
