At Masía El Pinet we process the personal data you provide through the contact form, WhatsApp or email for the following purposes:

  • Handling your request for information or your accommodation booking.
  • Answering your enquiries through the contact form or WhatsApp.
  • Managing the contractual relationship arising from a confirmed booking (dates, payment, conditions of stay).
  • Sending you communications related to your booking (confirmation, reminders, arrival instructions).

We do not use your data to send you marketing communications unless you have expressly requested or authorised it.

3. Legal basis

The legal basis for processing your data is:

  • Performance of a contract, when the data is collected to manage a booking.
  • Consent of the data subject, when you fill in the contact form or message us on WhatsApp to request information.
  • Consent of the data subject, for the statistical analysis and improvement of the website using analytics tools (Google Analytics), which are only activated if you accept statistics cookies in the cookie banner.

4. What data do we process?

Depending on the contact channel, we may process the following data: name, email address, phone number, requested dates of stay, number of people, the message or enquiry sent, and browsing data collected through cookies (see the Cookie Policy).

5. How long do we keep your data?

Data provided through the contact form or WhatsApp will be kept for as long as it takes to handle your enquiry or booking, and thereafter for the periods required by law to deal with any liability arising from the processing (generally, the limitation periods for legal actions applicable in Spain).

6. Who will your data be shared with?

Your data will not be passed on to third parties except where required by law, with the following exceptions arising from the technical services this website uses:

  • Google LLC, as the provider of Google Analytics, Google Maps and Google Search Console, under the terms of its own privacy policy. These services may involve transfers of data outside the European Economic Area, covered by the safeguards provided by Google (EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
  • Meta/WhatsApp, when you choose to contact us using the WhatsApp button, under the terms of the WhatsApp privacy policy.
  • OVHcloud, as the website hosting provider.

7. Your rights

As the data subject, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Request the rectification of inaccurate data.
  • Request the erasure of your data when it is no longer necessary.
  • Request the restriction of, or object to, the processing of your data.
  • Request the portability of your data.

You can exercise these rights by writing to info@elpinet.com, attaching a copy of a document proving your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with current legislation.

We take the technical and organisational measures necessary to guarantee the security of your personal data and prevent its alteration, loss, processing or unauthorised access.
