Cookie policy

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website installs in the user’s browser when they visit it. They make it possible to store and retrieve information about the browsing habits of a user or their device and, depending on the information they contain, can be used to recognise the user.

2. Cookies used on this website

Masía El Pinet (elpinet.com) uses its own and third-party cookies, classified according to their purpose:

Technical or necessary cookies
Essential for the website to work properly, including the one that records your cookie consent preferences. They do not require prior consent.

Analytics cookies — Google Analytics
These allow us to count the number of visitors and analyse statistically how users use the website, in order to improve the content offered. They require your prior consent.

Third-party cookies — Google Maps
The Masía El Pinet location map uses the Google Maps service, which may install its own cookies in order to work properly. They require your prior consent.

Availability calendar
The availability calendar is synchronised via iCal directly from our server. Your browser does not connect to Google or any other external service to display it, so it does not install cookies or share your data with third parties.

Contact form
Submitting the contact form does not in itself install tracking cookies, unless it includes an anti-spam verification system (such as Google reCAPTCHA), in which case that system may also install its own cookies.

WhatsApp button
The contact button links directly to the user’s WhatsApp app and does not install its own cookies on this site. Any subsequent conversation is subject to the WhatsApp/Meta privacy policy.

3. Consent and cookie management

This website uses the Complianz cookie consent management system, which automatically blocks non-essential cookies until the user gives explicit consent through the cookie banner. The user can change or withdraw their consent at any time through the cookie settings panel available in the footer of the website.

4. Legal basis

In accordance with article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), this website asks for the user’s consent before installing non-essential cookies.

5. How to manage or disable cookies in your browser

In addition to the Complianz panel, users can allow, block or delete the cookies installed on their device through their browser settings: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari or Microsoft Edge.

6. Changes to the cookie policy

Masía El Pinet may amend this Cookie Policy in line with legal requirements or to reflect new cookies that may be added to the website. We recommend reviewing this policy regularly.
